Fitted wardrobes in beech

This project was to build and fit a large beech veneered wardrobe, pictured below. This four door wardrobe comprises 2 cabinets, one fitted with shelves, the other with 2 hanging rails.

As the wardrobe was for a third floor bedroom I made it in several smaller pieces and put it all together once it was in the room. Beech fitted cupboard / wardrobe

The pictures show a fitted cupboard/wardrobe I recently made for a client in Brighton. The cupboard had to be assembled at the property as it was too big to get into the room in one piece. It was at times quite tricky, working in limited space with such a large piece of furniture. Also pictured is David Allistone who has recently joined me to help on larger projects. Kitchen Worktops

The photographs here show one of the beech kitchen worktops that I recently fitted in a property in Brighton. In this example only the worktops were replaced, installed to fit with the existing kitchen cabinets, sink and fittings. The worktop is finished with many coats of oil to ensure a hard-wearing and water resistant surface.
